Call Recorder, Total Recall 2 review

Call Recorder, Total Recall 2, an app by Killer mobile ® is tipped to be the most secure call recording app in the market which their marketers repeatedly say has a strict No Spam ware and No Tracking code policy and is also completely free from annoying ads.

It is safe to say that the Total Recall 2 is loaded with features. It can be used for recording calls (either side of the conversation) and can also double back as a Voice Recorder. One can manually tweak the system, and use one’s desired recording method without much of a problem. Also it can work across different platforms like the iOS and windows, apart from being compatible with Android 2.3 and all of its other higher versions. It can run on about a dozen phones without requiring the user to root it. In phones like Samsung Galaxy note 3, the Galaxy S3, S4, S4 mini, S4 Advance, UK S4, Galaxy S2, Sony Xperia Z the Total Recall 2 works without any rooting. However, a lot many phones including the i9100 (Galaxy S2with OS 4.0.3 to 4.1.1), the T989 (T-mobile Sprint Epic 4G Touch), the SPH-D710 (Sprint Galaxy S2), the HTC One require Rooting to run the Total Recall 2 which comes across as an inconvenience.

The thing which sets Total Recall 2 apart from other similar call recording applications like the MP3 In call Recorder is the clarity of the recorder voice, and the fact that it can record the voices of both the caller and the receiver. And that’s not all; the app also provides controls which allow you to configure the delay after which it can start recording the call. If you don’t change the settings, the app starts automatically recording when you initiate the call. You can also stop or pause the recording in between the call, which is a nice little addition to the new version. You can easily rename the recording and even add a relevant note, and what’s more, there is an option of sharing the recording, you can upload it on Gmail or the Google drive directly. Total Recall 2 keeps an individually separate record of your recorded calls, which can be sorted according to the incoming or outgoing as per your desire. The App also provides you with complete control as to which calls you want to record, these changes can be incorporated by adding the recording option to the selected list of people from your call list. It can also be done manually at the start of each call. The privacy of the recorded calls can easily be safeguarded by the password encryption option embedded with the App which allows you to password protect the recordings.

Apart from the fact, that Total Recall 2 requires rooting to run on certain mobiles, it performs really well. It has an easy and intuitive user interface which makes up for a superior experience, It is available on the Google play store for a 3 day free trial period. But if you are looking to buy, it can be purchased for 10$ with a full license.
